Dothan, from Anniston to Tuscaloosa. The firm was founded by Whit
Drake in 1998 after he worked for
another personal injury law firm in
Birmingham for nine years. Mr.
Drake tried his first case at age 25
and obtained a $700,000 punitive
damage jury verdict against Northrup
King Company for a farmer who had
bought contaminated feed for his
dairy cattle. His first
verdict for more than a million
dollars came just two years later in
a wrongful death case. Since
that time, he has obtained numerous
verdicts and settlements in excess
of a million dollars, including
obtaining record verdicts in several
counties. He has
also written multiple articles for
legal publications and spoken
extensively at legal seminars. Drake
has successively handled cases in
West Virginia, Mississippi, Florida,
Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee,
Texas, Georgia and North Carolina.

Whit
Drake was born in Decatur, Alabama
and admitted to bar in 1989.
He received his B.A. from the
University of Alabama in 1986 and
his J.D. from the University of
Alabama in 1989. In 1988, Mr.
Drake served as an apprentice to the
Alabama Supreme Court. He has
authored numerous publications and
is a frequent speaker at legal
seminars.
